Telluride Ski and Golf Names New CEO

Riley Brings Broad Experience to Resort

TELLURIDE, CO., June 25, 2007 (Immediate Release) - Telluride Ski and Golf announced today that the company has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer.

Dave Riley, 45, is the current president of Oregon's Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort, where he has worked for the last 14 years. His ski industry history also includes positions as Vice President, Operations and Finance for New Mexico's Angel Fire Resort; and Treasurer, Controller and Director of Information Systems for Wyoming's Jackson Hole Ski Corporation. He is currently a member of the National Ski Areas Association board of directors and sits on the environmental committee and public lands committee. Riley is also past chair and a current board member of the Pacific Northwest Ski Areas Association and has held board seats and officer positions on many homeowner associations. He started his career in the ski industry at Keystone Resort, Colorado after graduating in 1986 from Mesa State College, Grand Junction.

“Telluride has a bright future as a leader in environmental, economic, and cultural sustainability,” commented Riley.

Riley has been a leader in resolving complex environmental issues on Mt. Hood, Oregon. He represented the ski company in a successful collaborative process with multiple environmental groups which lead to a historic settlement agreement regarding wilderness expansion, watershed protection, cultural site preservation, and development on Mt. Hood.

“We are extremely pleased to have Dave Riley join as our new Chief Executive Officer,” said Chuck Horning, owner of Telluride Ski and Golf. “I am impressed with his broad ski industry experience, proven leadership, and the passion he brings in terms of customer service. Moreover, Dave is clearly focused on keeping Telluride on the leading edge of responsible environmental stewardship.  This is a solid move for the resort.”

Michael Berry, President of the Denver-based National Ski Areas Association, commented, “Dave Riley brings a wealth of ski industry knowledge and experience to his new role in Telluride. He is a creative and talented CEO who will work effectively to enhance Telluride’s reputation as one of the great mountain resorts in North America.”

Riley is married to Noreen Riley and has an 11-year-old daughter, Alex. “We’re viewing our move to Telluride as a long-term commitment. It’s in that context that I’m looking forward to partnering with all the stakeholders to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the community,” said Riley.

The Riley family is in the process of relocating to Telluride from Mt. Hood and should be settled here near the end of July.
